Solid Wood Flooring
There are many different types solid wood flooring, also referred to as real wood. They can differ in types of wood, styles, finishes etc. The most popular type of solid wood flooring is oak, this is also true of laminates. Engineered Flooring
Engineered wood flooring is made up using three pieces of wood, the top layer is real wood and forms the surface giving it a real wood look and feel.
The bottom layer of engineered wood flooring is designed to stabilise the wood flooring and minimise movement during the changing of the seasons. The middle layer is the core and is there to help retain the stop of the plank and has the grooves and inserts used to link the engineered flooring together. Bamboo Flooring
